I’ve been back for a couple months now and I am about to head out again to start the next chapter of my journey. These past months I’ve been a little cooped up, working on my book, which is now out to print, and other such things. There is no shortage of adventure here in Colorado and one great thing about living on the Front Range is you are close to it. A fifteen-minute car ride could get you to Horsetooth Mountain Park; an hour could get you well up the Poudre Canyon or into Rocky Mountain National Park.
Even though it is winter, there is still plenty of trekking to do – snowshoe trekking. A friend and I walked through deep snow at wind sweeping heights in Rocky Mountain to the frozen solid waters of Mills Lake. One key to living a healthy life is to incorporate activity, fun activities, into your life. Going to the gym can be quite boring for an adventurous spirit, I'd rather run, swim, trek and climb.
