Being away from a strict routine and the endless hustle of city life I have had time to think – just think. And during one of these episodes I realized how little I have done this before. Thinking in general no, but idly thinking; letting the mind graze over whatever seems to well up, to just sit, and patiently watch yourself walk along the ebbing and flowing line of complete consciousness, like an evening seashore stroll.
In doing so an interesting thing happens; eventually your mind just seems to figure things out and reaches a final state of calm. All problems seem solvable, and the grass beyond the next barrier becomes greener still. This may seem obvious, but have you tried it lately? I challenge you to try it today – meditate. Contemplate everything and nothing all at once.
